Wart Removal Treatment Clinic in Hyderabad

Warts are small lumps that often grow on the skin of the hands and feet. These growths of the skin are very common and non-cancerous, they are caused by infection of a virus. Warts can differ in appearance. Most often warts will be round or oval shaped and have a hard, scaly surface with a small black dot (called a seed) in the centre of each spot. This black dot is due to a small clotted blood vessel. There are several different types of wart and they can develop as a single wart or in clusters.

Different types of warts are more likely to affect different areas of the body. For example, a verruca is a type of wart that commonly develops on the sole of the foot. If the skin on the soles of your feet is damaged, you may be more vulnerable to verrucas. Warts are common in children and teenagers of school age, but can affect otherwise healthy adults. Warts are more common in people with weakened immune systems. Most people will have a wart at some point in their life.

Cause of Warts?

Most warts come about due to the Human Papiloma Virus (HPV). The virus travels in the blood and can go to different parts of the body commonly popping up in the extremities including fingers and toes. Seborrhoeic keratosis is a type of wart which is not caused by HPV – this has a genetic component and is also caused by sun damage and is often seen in patients who spend a lot of time in the sun.

At Skinbliss Clinic based in Hyderabad we run daily wart removal. Should you wish to remove your wart at our see and treat clinic all consultation fees will be wavered off if done on the same day.

What happens in my first consultation?

When you book an appointment with one of our expert Dermatologists, they will begin by examining your wart(s) and confirming that this is the correct diagnosis. They will ask you when they occurred/ how long they have been there, as well as whether they have been removed in the past and then come back.

The care plan they suggest will depend on the severity and type of your warts and the treatments you have already tried (such as over the counter creams and gels). They may prescribe stronger topical treatments for you to apply at home, or suggest going straight to Cryotherapy, which involves freezing off the warts with a specialist machine.

They may suggest a mixture of treatments to initially remove the wart as well as a care plan to ensure that they don’t return. They will also explain the implications of different treatments, such as the possibility of scarring on the skin left behind.

Will my warts be permanently removed?

Warts can be permanently removed with treatment in most cases, but they also do have the ability to return, especially if not treated properly.

Whether or not your warts can be completely removed will also depend on their type and severity.

Our Dermatologists Dr. Deepali Marthineni are professionally trained in successfully removing warts from the skin. They will also advise you of the proper after care to ensure they don’t return, as well as advice on how to make sure they do not spread to other parts of the body.

Treatment options

Many often our bodies fight off the virus, in which case the warts disappear with no treatment. But if the warts persist, they can be removed with different medical methods. Each treatment is aimed at getting rid of the visible warts and lowering the number of viruses present. If the amount of viruses can be lowered the patient’s immune system has a better chance of fighting them off. The following treatments are effective in getting rid of visible warts:

Laser treatment

an intensive beam of light is used to destroy the wart. The number of sessions will vary and it could be anything between one to three normally or sometimes more. This is and effective method with lasting results and less likelihood of scarring unlike cryotherapy.
